Bell & Bird Old European Cut Diamond Earrings

Our design for these earrings is inspired by Georgian and Victorian Era cutaway settings. Entirely hand fabricated they feature silver-topped gold, cutaway collet settings. This is a labor-intensive setting technique common in 18th and 19th century. The silver-on-gold technique is true to the rings that inspired this design and is rarely seen in modern jewelry. The earrings feature two old European cut diamonds, of 0.70 carats approx. H color and VS2 clarity and 0.71 approx. H color and SI2 clarity. 

A more unusual take on the classic diamond stud earring.
