A beautiful 19th century amethyst rivière necklace, in classic gold collet settings. The large scale oval stones are all vibrant deep purple colors. English in origin. Circa 1870.
The necklace measures a generous 16.75" in length. Hidden push tab closure at the back. Lays beautifully on the neck and would be great layered. Wearable and Rare.
Natural color banding is visible in photographs, but the color variation is not apparent when viewed in naturally lit settings.
