Art Deco Calf Cut Diamond Locket Ring
Rare Art Deco Era Calf Cut diamond ring, in platinum. The diamond was polished in a flat plane just as a glass would be, often to cover a painted portrait miniature or woven hair. In this case, the center diamond covers an empty locket compartment. There is enough room for a tiny memento or image to rest inside.
On either side of the central diamond are two side baguettes. Center diamond is approximately 1.90 carats. American in origin. Circa 1910.
Size 6, can be resized.
Do to the delicate nature of the moving parts of this ring, it would need to be worn with care.
