19th-Century Emerald and Diamond Necklace
France, early 19th century.
A rare and elegant necklace. The design depicts a garland of flowers executed in emeralds and diamonds. The piece reveals its origins with Parisian hallmarks. The original ribbon fittings are intact and have been fitted with a simple hook clasp to allow for easier modern wear. Circa 1800.
The necklace measures 15.25 inches long. The central element measures 2.25 in drop length and 1.50 in width.
