Georgian Era Garnet and Paste Earrings
England, Circa 1800.
An unusual marriage of Georgian era garnet tops with Queen Anne period paste drops are incredibly well matched. The tops are in 15k gold and silver and date to the early 1800’s and the gilded metal bottoms date to the mid 1700’s.
On gold earring wires. Measure 1.75 inches in drop length and .50 inches wide.
