Victorian Era Diamond Arrow Brooch
England, circa 1860.
Wonderful tiny square old mine cut diamonds are set in silver topped gold. The gold has developed a deep patina; it can be easily polished off if desired. The arrow was often used as a love token, representing being struck with Cupid's arrow.
The coin measures 1.50 inches in drop length and .35 inches wide. Antique and modern gold chains are sold separately and are available in-store. Please call or email the shop to inquire.
