Georgian Era Diamond and Garnet Maltese Cross

Beautiful early 19th century pendant with rose-cut diamonds and flat cut garnets set in silver on a gold. A nice scale that can be worn on a short or long chain.
Maltese crosses were worn in the 19th century to represent charity, chivalry, and protection.
