Georgian Era Paste Earring

Rock crystal stones in a larger than typical scale. Rock crystal stones are set in silver collet pie crust settings. What were once beautiful Georgian era buttons or cufflinks are now perfect everyday earrings. Closed backs with foil set beneath the stones. The settings have developed a dark patina over the years, and the foil beneath the stones has become mottled with time, giving an unusual dark sparkle. This was difficult to capture, and the darkness is more pronounced in the photographs.  They are brighter and more uniform in person. 

The earrings measure 0.75 inches in length.
