19th Century Carved Turquoise Fede Ring
The fede symbol of clasped hands was often given as a token of loyalty and trust. This example features a beautifully carved Persian turquoise stone set in 14k gold. The shoulders are engraved in a floral forget-me-not motif. Found in Switzerland. Circa 1840
