Late 19th century ruby ring in 18k gold. Features 5 natural deep red rubies and 7 small rose cut diamonds. Ruby and diamond rings were often given as love tokens as rubies were considered symbolic of passion and diamonds enduring love. English in origin. Circa 1890.
