Ancient Roman Ant Intaglio Ring

A rare ancient Roman intaglio ring depicting an ant. The shank is in a distinct stirrup shape, common in rings from this time. 2nd Century. The ring came from a renowned European collector's estate. 

Size 5.50, cannot be sized larger, but a gold sleeve can be added to fit smaller sizes at a small additional expense.
