Early 19th Century Cut Steel Necklace

A fine example of an early 19th Century cut steel necklace. The central portion of flower and garland is earlier than the back portion that goes around the neck.  The finest examples of cut steel are comprised of these smaller facetted rivets.  English or french in origin. Found in England.
