Striking early 19th-century earrings made in Europe in the Georgian era. The intricate gold cannetille work is light in weight and surrounds flat-cut garnets in 18k gold. The backs have been changed into more modern post and hinged backs supporting the weight well on the ear. French import marks. Circa 1820.
