Georgian Era Mourning Enamel Band

Georgian era mourning black and white enamel band, in 18k gold. Reads: JAMES NORRIS: ESQ: OB 5 JULY 1796: AE 75". The white enamel on the ring symbolized that the gentleman was unmarried.

Approximate size 7.75. Can not be sized.

These rings were bequeathed to loved ones in the deceased estate.
