Making cannetille is a time intensive process that involves stretching and coiling gold into elaborate and intricate designs. Most likely French in origin. Found in England. All pieces are presented together in a fitted box. The box was fitted to the piece sometime in the early 20th Century. The original hooks on the earrings have been converted to posts. In excellent condition.
