A delicate late 19th century snake ring in 18k gold. Slightly curved design with a solitaire ruby set in the head with detailed engraved eyes and nose.  English in origin. Circa 1870.

A lovely example of a serpent ring representing a wonderful sentiment. The snake was a popular Victorian era symbol for eternal love.
