Victorian Era Gold Locket

England, circa 1880. 

This 15k gold locket has a restrained design for the period. The original frames are intact but are missing one glass panel. The locket has acquired a lovely dark patina over the years. A previous repair has slightly changed the original finish, revealing a slightly pinker tone on one side. This can be seen in the photos; it is subtle but worth mentioning. 

The locket measures 1.50 inches in length and 50 inches wide. Antique and modern gold chains are sold separately and are available in-store. Please call or email the shop to inquire.
