Wide Georgian Gold Mourning Ring Circa 1826

An example of an exceptionally wide mourning ring from the early 19th Century.  It reads 'In Memory Of" in olde english type on the exterior of the ring. With additional engraving on the interior. These rings were bequeathed to loved ones in the deceased estate.  We have another ring from the same estate that was made for another family member.  English hallmarks indicate the ring was made in London in 1826. 18k Gold & black enamel.
