18th century Spanish table cut diamond earrings in 18k gold. Wearable everyday and a textbook version of an early Spanish earring. This shape and style is often referenced in texts on jewelry from this time period. These diamonds were likely from the new mines of brazil developed by the portuguese in the 1720's. Two small beads deficient but overall excellent condition. Wonderful addition to a collection of earrings.
original back-to-front ear hooks. 1.56" in length and .75" wide at widest point.
