Georgian Inspired Diamond Ring

This ring was designed and hand-fabricated in our Texas workshop, drawing direct inspiration from Georgian-era rings of the 18th century. At its center is a naturally colored diamond of exceptional clarity, cut in an antique style to echo the rings of the past. Surrounding it are eighteen old mine-cut diamonds—each unique in shape and sourced from original period jewels.

All stones are set using the traditional 'cutaway' technique, commonly used in the 18th and 19th centuries but rarely seen in modern jewelry. Our workshop uses time-honored practices and tools to capture the spirit and quality of the 200-year-old jewels that inspire our designs.

Bell & Bird No. 3940 Old Mine Cut Diamond Cluster Ring

$39,750.00

Handmade diamond cluster ring, in our 18k "old gold". Featuring a central antique 3.07 carat old mine cut style diamond. The diamond is a Fancy brown/yellow color and VVS1 clarity.  Surrounded by eighteen small old mine cut diamonds in varied shapes, weighing approximately 1.26 carats in total diamond weight. We have applied a proprietary acid treatment to darken the gold, giving a deep tone to the settings surrounding the stones. This design is inspired by a labor-intensive setting technique of many 18th and 19th century rings.

Handmade in our Texas workshop, this ring is in our custom blend of 18K rose gold. A more subdued, darker tone than commercially available rose gold. We call this color "old gold" and created the alloy in the spirit of the many 19th century rings we have handled.
