Victorian French Jet Serpent Bracelet

Victorian era french jet snake bracelet.  True french jet (not black but nearly black red glass) on a stiff metal coil crawls up the arm. Circa 1860/80. Most likely a symbol of eternal love and worn as a part of a woman's mourning attire.
