Victorian Era Five Stone Old Mine Cut Diamond Ring

A late 19th century five-stone diamond ring, in 18k gold. Five old mine cut diamonds are set within framed settings. English in origin. Circa 1890. Found in Ireland.

This ring reveals its age with an uneven wear pattern.   Please see photos for details. Imperfections such as this are often seen in antique objects, revealing some of its untold history.  It is likely, this ring was worn against another ring for many years causing an unevenness in wear from one side to another. 

Size 7, it can be resized. It is pictured with a Bell and Bird old European cut diamond half hoop band.
